WFTV-Channel 9's Barbara West conducted a satellite interview with Sen. Joe Biden last Thursday. West wondered about Sen. Barack Obama's comment, to Joe the Plumber, about spreading the wealth. She quoted Karl Marx and asked how Obama isn't being a Marxist with the "spreading the wealth" comment. The same thing happened with CBS 3 in Philly. There are conflicting reports that one or both of these stations will no longer have access to the candidates, but at least these station news directors (and anchors) were gutsy enough to get their questions (and messages across). This is why Obama and Biden have not held news conferences since September - too many relevant questions! To call it ambush media is an infantile copout; it's silly if not downright absurd.
Finally, an over ride of the kid gloves displayed by the liberal, mainstream media who created Obama in the first place. The Florida station's anchor hits all the important but hidden points we and other blogs have been saying all along: (ACORN, Joe the Plumber, Socialism!), and pulls out the Karl Marx quote to boot.
