Voting Freebies Include Starbucks Coffee, Ben & Jerry's

Savvy businesses are taking advantage of Election Day by dangling freebies for voters, from coffee to sex toys. In other words, most of the Liberal businesses that have no clue that the country is about to turn totally Socialist.

Ben & Jerry's is offering a free ice cream scoop at participating shops from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Breakfast is served: Starbucks is offering a free cup of joe to anyone who asks Tuesday. And Krispy Kreme is planning to give away about 200,000 star-shaped doughnuts to anyone who mentions the promotion at participating shops, the Associated Press reported.

For lunch, about 100 Chick-fil-A independently operated restaurants will be offering free chicken strips and sandwiches on Tuesday, the AP reported. California Taco, which operates shops in the Eastern U.S., is offering a free taco coupon to those with an "I Voted" sticker.

Chicago-based Eli's Cheesecake is giving voters a free slice of the dessert at the company's main store. Those who don't live in the Chicago area can get an election-related cheesecake deal online.

In New York, retailers are using Election Day to lure shoppers. Trina Turk fashion boutique is offering a 20 percent discount to those with "I Voted" stickers or a ballot stub; the French Connection store has a similar 15 percent discount offer.

Sex toy purveyor Babeland is offering a free um, well, toys to voters at its New York and Seattle retail shops while supplies last, the store reported. Batteries not included.

I'm waiting for all those Liberal attorneys who act Republican to offer free divorces. That has not happened, but the year ain't over yet. But if it did, I think it would help the economy tremendously - if nothing else keep the peace between dysfunctional people.

Enjoy!

Walter
