# 10 Georgia holds off # 22 Vandy 24-14

Vanderbilt and Georgia have played 68 times since 1893. Today's match up marked the first time that both teams were ranked going in to the game.

Tailback Knowshon Moreno rushed for 172 yards and one touchdown and wide receiver A.J. Green caught seven passes for 132 yard and a score as No. 10 Georgia held on to beat No. 22 Vanderbilt 24-14 at Sanford Stadium this afternoon.

The Bulldogs improved to 6-1 overall, 3-1 in the Southeastern Conference, while Vanderbilt (5-2, 3-2 SEC) suffered its second straight loss as it looks to become bowl eligible for the first time since 1982.
