9-11 Memorial Artifacts - A temporary TributeCenter across from Ground Zero features photos and relics from the WTC attacks. In a huge hangar at JFKAirport are larger objects, such as burned out fire trucks and steel columns. These artifacts will be placed in the WorldTradeCenterMuseum when it opens in 2011. For a look inside the hangar, check out this video and report from CBS News....While yesterday was the day set aside to observe the events of 9/11, it was also Patriot Day in the US. I saw few people with flag lapel pins, few flags outside of homes. I think all government buildings should have their flags half mast on this day, but that's just my opinion....Scientists are interested in a large footprint discovered on Harold Jackson's property near Cookeville, TN. The fossil imprint is 11 inches wide, 15 inches long. I didn't know Shaq was ever in Tennessee....First photos of African 'unicorn' captured - An African animal so rarely seen it was once believed to be a mythical unicorn has been caught on camera in the wild for the first time. The okapi, a deer-like creature with the long blue tongue of a giraffe and the rear of a zebra, was only discovered at the beginning of the 20th century when a British explorer sent a skin home to London....A group of community farmers, some of them Amish, have filed a lawsuit challenging rules requiring the tagging of livestock with RFID chips, saying the devices are a "mark of the beast." Michigan and federal authorities say the radio frequency identification devices (RFID) will help monitor the travels of bovine and other livestock diseases. As radio frequency identification devices become a daily part of the electronic age, RFID technology is increasingly coming under fire for allegedly being the mark of Satan. The technology is fast becoming a part of passports and payment cards and is widely expected to replace bar-code labels on consumer goods. Some of the group's members so staunchly oppose the program that "they may have to quit farming," according to the lawsuit....Dogs And Cats Can Live In Perfect Harmony In The Home, If Introduced The Right Way - New research at Tel Aviv University, the first of its kind in the world, has found a new recipe for success. According to the study, if the cat is adopted before the dog and if they are introduced when still young (less than 6 months for kittens, a year for dogs), there is a high probability that your two pets will get along swimmingly. Results from the research were recently reported in the journal Applied Animal Behaviour Science....Blossom Goodchild, an Aussie actress and author, has the international Ufology community on its ear with channeled information concerning the eminent appearance of a massive extraterrestrial spacecraft for October 14th, 2008. Calling themselves ‘The Federation of Light’, these Beings from another world have stated to Goodchild that they intend not only to make themselves known, but also to remain more or less in place for a full 72 hour period, thereby providing the media with ample opportunity to once and for all capture on film evidence that will silence the skeptics and debunkers forever. The predicted rendezvous point? Alabama. (No comment).
